Satellite Events will provide the opportunity for regional and local communities to connect with the Conference experience in a way that is accessible, community-led, and locally relevant. They are designed to foster regional collaboration, strengthen local volunteer networks, encourage peer connection and discussion, and create opportunities for shared learning across Queensland's volunteering sector.

Volunteering Queensland is pleased to provide regional access to the Queensland Volunteering Conference by facilitating regional Satellite Events. These Satellite Events will be hosted at three key regional locations.
Cairns
Hosted by FNQ Volunteers Inc.
Gladstone
Hosted by Gladstone Regional Council
Roma
Hosted by Maranoa Regional Council
As a delegate of a satellite event, you will experience the Conference in a unique way in your community. An MC will lead each event during which you'll have access to the Conference livestream and information, the opportunity to network and engage with other delegates, and connect with other regional and online delegates through the virtual event platform.
Each satellite event will include:
- Catering
- Accessible entry, facilities and amenities (including accessible bathrooms)
- Comfortable environment with seating
- Parking and public transport options
