I left the conference feeling reignited in terms of changing the culture in my workplace and organisation in regards to the mindset around volunteers.
I came to the conference hoping to have my passion stirred up again and I certainly got that.
I had begun to feel quite isolated because of the busy nature of my job so it was great to speak to like-minded people.
It was great to interact with other volunteer managers to get their thoughts and ideas on what was most effective in their organisation.
